Tecno has launched the Spark 50S 5G in India, expanding its Spark 50 smartphone lineup following the recent debut of the Tecno Spark 50 5G. The new handset was introduced on Friday and is scheduled to go on sale in India on October 20 through Amazon.
The Tecno Spark 50S 5G is available in two RAM and storage configurations, along with two colour options. Key features include a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, a 6,500mAh battery and a display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The smartphone also offers a 50-megapixel rear camera and durability features designed to protect it against everyday accidents.
Tecno Spark 50S 5G Price in India and Availability
The Tecno Spark 50S 5G price in India starts at Rs. 19,999 for the variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The higher-end configuration, which offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, costs Rs. 22,999.
The smartphone will be available for purchase in India starting October 20 through Amazon. Buyers can choose between two colour options: Burgundy Red and Breeze Blue.
Tecno Spark 50S 5G Specifications and Features
The Tecno Spark 50S 5G is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs Android 16. It features a 6.78-inch LCD touchscreen with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The display offers a pixel density of 260 ppi.
Powering the handset is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset manufactured using a 6nm process. The processor includes six efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz and two performance cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.5GHz.
For durability, the smartphone carries military-grade MIL-STD-810H certification and is claimed to withstand drops from heights of up to 1.5 metres. It also has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. According to Tecno, the device can withstand exposure to water up to 20cm deep for five minutes.

The handset packs a 6,500mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. Its connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a USB Type-C port. It also retains a 3.5mm audio jack for wired headphones.
In terms of dimensions, the Tecno Spark 50S 5G measures 168 x 79 x 8mm and weighs approximately 210 grams.
