OnePlus is reportedly preparing to introduce the OnePlus Ace 7 in China later this month. Recent leaked schematics suggest that the upcoming smartphone could feature an integrated active cooling system with a dual-airflow design, aimed at maintaining performance during intensive tasks such as gaming.

The alleged schematics were shared on Weibo by tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS). They reportedly show how the internal cooling fan is positioned and how the system is designed to manage heat inside the handset. If introduced as described, the technology would mark a new approach to thermal management in OnePlus’s mainstream smartphones.

OnePlus Ace 7 Cooling System: What the Leak Reveals

According to the leaked information, the OnePlus Ace 7 could feature a built-in active cooling fan, with a dual-airflow mechanism designed to cool both the processor area and the rear panel. The system is said to direct hot air out through the sides of the phone while drawing cooler air downwards.

The fan is reportedly positioned in the bottom-right corner of the square rear camera module. The cooling setup is also expected to use an AI temperature sensor, proprietary thermal management technology and optimisations intended to reduce fan noise and limit dust accumulation.

The system is designed to help the smartphone manage heat more effectively under heavy workloads, potentially supporting sustained performance during extended gaming sessions.

OnePlus Ace 7 Expected Specifications and Performance

The OnePlus Ace 7 is rumoured to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. According to Digital Chat Station, the proposed cooling system could help the processor deliver performance comparable to devices powered by the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 platform.

The smartphone is also expected to feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 185Hz refresh rate. This combination could appeal to users looking for smooth visuals, particularly during gaming and multimedia use.

Geekbench listings associated with model numbers PMS110 and PYF110 reportedly point to configurations offering up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

For photography, the handset is tipped to feature a 200MP primary rear camera and a 50MP secondary sensor. Some leaks suggest that the secondary camera could be a periscope telephoto lens using Samsung’s ISOCELL JN5 sensor, with support for 3.5x optical zoom. A 16MP front camera is also expected.

The device could pack a 9,000mAh battery with either 100W or 120W fast-charging support. On the software front, it is tipped to run Android 17 with ColorOS 17.

OnePlus Ace 7 India Launch and Expected Price

The OnePlus Ace 7 is reportedly scheduled to launch in China later this month. There are also indications that the smartphone could reach India under the name OnePlus 16R, following the company’s practice of introducing Ace-series devices in international markets under different names.

The expected Indian price is currently estimated at around ₹69,990, although OnePlus has not officially confirmed the pricing or launch details.
