Vivo has expanded its mid-range smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the new Vivo S2 FE and Vivo V80. Both smartphones feature slim designs, high-refresh-rate AMOLED displays, large batteries and upgraded camera systems.
The two new models are aimed at users looking for premium features in the mid-range segment, with the Vivo V80 offering higher storage options and a more advanced camera setup.
Vivo S2 FE and Vivo V80: Price and Availability
The Vivo S2 FE has been introduced in two configurations. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 38,999, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs Rs 42,999.
The smartphone will be available in Stellar Green, Titan Black and Zen White colour options. Its sale will begin on October 20 through Flipkart, Amazon and offline retail stores across India.
Customers using select cards may also receive an additional 10 per cent instant cashback and a 10 per cent exchange bonus when trading in an old smartphone.
The Vivo V80, meanwhile, comes in three storage configurations. The 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant costs Rs 62,999, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB version is priced at Rs 69,999. The top-end 8GB RAM and 512GB storage model carries a price tag of Rs 79,999.
The V80 is offered in Stellar Black, Horizon Blue and Sunrise Anthem colour options. It will go on sale from October 13 through Flipkart and Vivo’s official website.
Vivo S2 FE Specifications
The Vivo S2 FE features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED Q10 display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel can reach up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness, making it suitable for use in bright outdoor conditions.
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
For photography, the handset has a 50MP primary rear camera accompanied by a 2MP secondary sensor. A 32MP front camera is provided for selfies and video calls.
One of the major highlights of the Vivo S2 FE is its 10,000mAh battery, which supports 44W fast charging. The smartphone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for protection against water and dust.
Vivo V80 Specifications and Features
The Vivo V80 comes with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and is available with up to 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
The camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP telephoto OIS camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, the phone gets a 50MP front-facing camera.
The V80 is powered by a 7,200mAh battery and supports 90W wired fast charging. It runs OriginOS 7 based on Android 17 and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust protection.
