Kotak Mahindra Bank: Advances and Deposits Rise
Kotak Mahindra Bank reported a 24.7% year-on-year increase in net advances during the second quarter, taking the figure to ₹5.77 lakh crore.
The bank’s CASA deposits rose 11.3% year-on-year to ₹2.49 lakh crore, while total deposits increased 23.2% to ₹6.51 lakh crore. Investors are likely to monitor the lender’s loan growth and deposit performance following the latest update.
Vedanta: Dividend Decision in Focus

Trent: Retail Network Continues to Expand
Trent reported standalone revenue of ₹5,788 crore in the second quarter, registering a 23% year-on-year increase from ₹4,724 crore.

Juniper Hotels, Axis Bank and Narayana Hrudayalaya
Juniper Hotels has entered into a binding MoU with Imagicaaworld Entertainment to acquire the operating Novotel Imagicaa hotel in Khopoli, Maharashtra, for ₹248 crore.
The property has 287 rooms and is spread across approximately 11 acres. The proposed acquisition could be an important company-specific development for investors tracking the hospitality sector.
Axis Bank also reported strong growth in advances and deposits during the second quarter. Gross advances rose 8.8% sequentially and 22.7% year-on-year to ₹13.84 lakh crore.
Total deposits stood at ₹14.52 lakh crore, representing growth of 5.8% over the previous quarter and 20.7% compared with the same period last year.
Meanwhile, Narayana Hrudayalaya has entered into an agreement with Mission of Mercy Hospital and Research Centre and The Assemblies of God of North India to operate and manage the Mission of Mercy Hospital & Research Centre in the Park Street area of Kolkata.
The agreement provides for long-term exclusive operation and management of the hospital, which has 100 beds and covers approximately 63,240.37 square feet.
