The third chapter of the popular franchise also opened strongly in overseas markets. Drishyam 3 earned an estimated overseas gross of Rs 15 crore, taking its worldwide gross collection to Rs 95.10 crore after the first day.

Drishyam 3 Continues Vijay Salgaonkar’s Story
Drishyam 3 continues the journey of Vijay Salgaonkar following the events of Drishyam 2. In the previous instalment, Vijay once again managed to protect his family despite investigators finding evidence that had the potential to significantly affect the case against them.
The new film takes the story forward as Vijay faces another set of challenges while trying to keep his family protected and prevent his secrets from coming to light. As the franchise reaches its concluding chapter, the pressure surrounding Vijay and his family becomes even greater.
Hindi Drishyam 3 Takes Its Own Story Route
The Hindi version of Drishyam 3 follows a different narrative direction from Mohanlal’s Malayalam Drishyam 3. Although both films belong to the same franchise, the Hindi film is not a direct remake of the Malayalam third instalment.
Instead, the Hindi franchise has chosen to continue Vijay Salgaonkar’s story through its own storyline as it moves towards the conclusion of his journey.
