The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall in several parts of the country today. Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe and Tamil Nadu are among the areas expected to receive heavy rain.
The weather department has also predicted rainfall in some parts of the northeastern states, with weather conditions likely to remain active in several regions.
Thunderstorms and Gusty Winds Expected
Along with heavy rain, the IMD has forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds in several areas.
Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry, Odisha and Madhya Pradesh are among the regions where these conditions are expected. Similar weather activity has also been forecast over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to remain alert to changing weather conditions and follow local weather updates.
Delhi Weather Forecast
Delhi is expected to experience a clear sky today, according to the IMD forecast.
The maximum temperature is likely to remain between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to stay around 20 to 22 degrees Celsius.
