Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment have released the official full-length trailer of Udta Teer, an action-comedy directed by Akash A Kaushik. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan and takes a comic approach to the familiar spy-thriller formula with a story built around mistaken identity and memory loss.
Udta Teer is scheduled to arrive in cinemas across India on October 9, 2026.

The trailer opens with a humorous reversal of the usual espionage setup. Instead of Indian agents being sent undercover to Pakistan, Pakistani handlers complain that India has repeatedly sent spies across the border before suggesting that it is now their turn to do the same.
Another memorable sequence plays with the identity confusion surrounding Ayushmann Khurrana’s character. In one scene, a frustrated colleague tells him, “You think you are Sunny Deol now? You are not Tara Singh; you are Ashraf Ali!”
Sara Ali Khan appears as a tough and determined Counter-Terrorism Squad officer. Reuniting with Ayushmann after Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, she takes on an action-oriented role filled with sharp dialogue and high-energy sequences.
The trailer also features Ram Kapoor and Gulshan Grover as Pakistani officials who find themselves struggling to deal with their rogue agent. Their reactions add another layer of comedy to the spy storyline.

What Is Udta Teer About?
The story follows Bilal, played by Ayushmann Khurrana, a Pakistani secret agent assigned to an undercover mission in India. His mission takes an unexpected turn when he loses his memory following a powerful explosion.
After the incident, Bilal no longer remembers that he is a Pakistani agent. Instead, he becomes convinced that he is a fiercely patriotic Indian officer working with the Counter-Terrorism Squad.
Sara Ali Khan plays another CTS officer who recruits Bilal and helps him navigate his new identity. As Bilal becomes determined to defend India, his handlers in Pakistan are left scrambling to deal with a situation they never anticipated: their own undercover operative has unknowingly turned against them.
