BRICS Summit 2026: As global leaders gather in New Delhi for the 18th BRICS Summit, the spotlight is on the group’s expanding economic and geopolitical influence. However, BRICS nations are also significant destinations for overseas investments, including luxury real estate owned by several Indian celebrities.
The 18th BRICS Summit is being held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from September 12 to 13. While trade, infrastructure, investment and international cooperation remain at the centre of the summit, the event also brings attention to the growing links between India and other BRICS economies.
BRICS was initially known as BRIC and consisted of Brazil, Russia, India and China. The term was coined by economist Jim O’Neill in 2001. The group began its summit-level meetings in 2009, with South Africa becoming a member in 2010. Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the UAE joined in 2024, while Indonesia became a member in 2025. The bloc also expanded its network of partner countries in 2025.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have an impressive real estate portfolio in India. The couple is associated with the Bachchan family’s 10,125 sq ft Mumbai bungalow, Jalsa, where they reside with Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan.
Their reported property holdings also include a 5-BHK apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex, said to have been purchased for approximately Rs 21 crore, along with a property on the 37th floor of Skylark Tower in Worli.
Outside India, the couple reportedly owns a luxury mansion at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai. The property is said to have been acquired for around Rs 16 crore.

His Mumbai residence Mannat is reportedly worth around Rs 300 crore, while his other Indian properties include a farmhouse in Alibaug, an apartment in Bandra and a multi-storey residence in Panchsheel Park, New Delhi.
The superstar also has an overseas real estate investment in the UAE. Khan reportedly owns a beachfront villa on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah, popularly reported to be named Jannat.
The luxurious Dubai property is estimated to be worth approximately Rs 100 crore.
R Madhavan’s Waterfront Dubai Property

R Madhavan also reportedly has properties in both India and the UAE. His Indian real estate holdings include a bungalow in Mumbai, reportedly valued at around Rs 17.5 crore, as well as a luxury home in Chennai.
In Dubai, the actor is reported to own a waterfront villa in the Marina area. Madhavan had also temporarily relocated to the UAE, adding to his connection with the city.

Salman Khan’s real estate investments span several locations in India. His reported properties include Galaxy Apartments, his long-time Mumbai residence, a farmhouse in Panvel, a 4-BHK property in Bandra, a residence in Santacruz and a beach house in Gorai.
