How to Complete PM Kisan e-KYC Online
OTP-Based e-KYC
Farmers with an Aadhaar-linked mobile number can use the OTP method.

- Enter your Aadhaar number.
- Submit the required details.
- Complete the verification using the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
- Once verification is successful, your e-KYC status will be updated.
Complete e-KYC Through Face Authentication
Farmers can also use the PM Kisan mobile application for face-based authentication.
The general process is:
- Download the PM Kisan mobile app from the Google Play Store.
- Open the application and log in using the mobile number registered with PM Kisan.
- Go to the Beneficiary Status section.
- If your e-KYC is pending, select the e-KYC option.
- Enter your Aadhaar number as required.
- Provide the necessary consent for face authentication.
- Complete the face scan through your smartphone.
- After successful verification, the e-KYC process will be completed.
Farmers who cannot complete digital e-KYC may also use a biometric authentication facility at an authorised centre.
Make Sure Your Aadhaar Is Linked to Your Bank Account
Completing e-KYC alone may not be enough if there is an issue with your bank details.
PM Kisan payments are transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Therefore, farmers should ensure that their bank account is correctly linked and that the required Aadhaar seeding is completed.
If your Aadhaar is not linked to the relevant bank account, visit your bank branch and submit the required Aadhaar seeding form. The account can then be linked through the applicable NPCI process.
Farmers can also check their Aadhaar-bank seeding status through the relevant online facility by selecting the “Know Your Status” option.
When Will the Next PM Kisan Instalment Be Released?
Farmers are naturally waiting for the next ₹2,000 instalment under PM Kisan. The scheme generally provides financial assistance in instalments at four-month intervals.
