Vivo has introduced its latest premium foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold 6, in India at a price of ₹2,19,999. The new book-style foldable succeeds the previous-generation model and is aimed at users looking for a high-end smartphone with powerful performance, multitasking capabilities and advanced features.
The Vivo X Fold 6 continues with a slim aluminium frame and a glass body, along with a circular camera module on the rear. The company has also focused on improving everyday usability, with highlights including a 6,900mAh semi-solid-state battery, the Origin Workbench interface for managing multiple applications and a custom-tuned MediaTek processor.

The Vivo X Fold 6 features an 8.02-inch AMOLED display on the inside and a 6.51-inch AMOLED cover screen. Both panels support a variable 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness.
Powering the smartphone is the custom MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The device runs on Android 17-based OriginOS 7.
For photography, the foldable comes with a triple-camera setup on the rear. It includes a 200-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel 3x telephoto camera with support for up to 100x zoom. Both the inner and cover displays feature a 20-megapixel selfie camera.
The Vivo X Fold 6 packs a 6,900mAh battery with support for 80W wired Flash charging and 40W wireless charging. It also carries IPX8, IPX9 and IP5X ratings for water and dust resistance. Connectivity options include 5G and Wi-Fi, while the phone also supports a multi-window Desktop Mode.

In India, the Vivo X Fold 6 is available in a single configuration with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The smartphone is priced at ₹2,19,999.
The foldable smartphone will be offered in Nebula Teal and Prism Black colour options. Sales are scheduled to begin on October 13 through Vivo’s official e-store, Flipkart, Amazon and partner retail stores.
