The Mumbai Crime Branch has detained a 12th suspect in connection with the firing incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. The suspect was apprehended in Sonipat, Haryana, with assistance from the local police, following specific information received during the investigation. Mumbai Police confirmed the development on Thursday, adding that further legal proceedings are underway.

The latest detention comes as investigators continue to probe the October 18 shooting incident in Mumbai’s Juhu area. According to reports, the newly detained suspect has been identified as Aman. Police are investigating his alleged involvement in the case, along with possible financial transactions linked to the incident.

Tiger Shroff Firing Case: Police Investigation Intensifies

The Mumbai Crime Branch has expanded its investigation across several states to identify everyone allegedly involved in the shooting. Before Aman’s detention, 11 people had already been arrested in connection with the case.

Investigators are working to uncover the alleged network behind the attack. Their probe includes examining possible connections among the accused, the procurement and supply of firearms, and the logistical and financial assistance allegedly provided to those involved in the shooting.

What Happened in the October 18 Shooting Incident?

The incident occurred on October 18 in Mumbai’s Juhu area, when unidentified assailants allegedly opened fire at Tiger Shroff’s car near a football ground. The actor escaped without suffering major injuries. However, his driver and a bystander sustained injuries in the incident.

Following the shooting, police arrested three alleged shooters from Kota, Rajasthan. As the investigation progressed, authorities conducted further operations in different states and made additional arrests.

During the investigation, two firearms and 10 cartridges connected to the case were also recovered from Surat, Gujarat.

MCOCA Invoked in Tiger Shroff Firing Case

The Mumbai Police have invoked the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) in connection with the shooting. On October 29, a special court sent the 11 previously arrested accused to police custody until November 6.

The investigation is currently focused on establishing the alleged conspiracy, tracing the origin of the weapons and identifying individuals suspected of arranging financial and logistical support for the attackers.

Meanwhile, alleged gang operative Anil Pandit, who reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack through social media, remains absconding, according to police.

With the latest detention in Sonipat, the investigation has entered another stage. However, authorities have not yet publicly confirmed the specific role allegedly played by the newly detained suspect, Aman, in the firing incident.
