Samsung is expected to introduce its Galaxy S27 series in early 2027, with the upcoming lineup likely to include four models: the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra. While the company has not revealed any official details, the processor selection for these smartphones has become a subject of recent leaks. A new listing on the NBD trade data platform suggests that Samsung may use different chipsets across the series, with the Galaxy S27 Ultra potentially getting Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Series Chipset Details Leaked

The European variants of the four Galaxy S27 models are listed with different processors.

The database identifies the Galaxy S27 (SM-S952B/DS) and Galaxy S27+ (SM-S956B/DS) as devices powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2700 chipset.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S27 Pro (SM-S957B/DS) is associated with Qualcomm’s SM8950 processor, which is believed to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6.

The top-end Galaxy S27 Ultra (SM-S958B/DS), on the other hand, is listed with the SM8975 chipset, reportedly linked to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6.

Galaxy S27 Ultra Could Get the Most Powerful Chipset

The leaked information indicates that Samsung may reserve Qualcomm’s highest-tier upcoming processor for the Galaxy S27 Ultra. If accurate, this would mean the Pro model could feature a less powerful chipset than the Ultra variant, despite both smartphones belonging to the same flagship lineup.

The 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage for all four models.

The listings further provide details about the expected display sizes. The standard Galaxy S27 could feature a 6.3-inch screen, while the Galaxy S27+ may come with a 6.7-inch display. The Galaxy S27 Pro is listed with a 6.5-inch panel, and the Galaxy S27 Ultra could offer a larger 6.9-inch display.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Series Expected Launch and Camera Details

Samsung has not officially confirmed the Galaxy S27 lineup, its specifications or the reported chipset arrangements.

Separately, rumours suggest that the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra could feature a 200-megapixel primary rear camera.

The Galaxy S27 series is expected to make its debut in early 2027 during Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event. However, since the information comes from unofficial database listings and leaks, the reported specifications should be treated as unconfirmed until Samsung makes an official announcement.
