Rajinikanth is back as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian in Jailer 2, and the newly released trailer has already created excitement among fans. The sequel brings back several familiar faces while introducing new characters, including Vidya Balan, SJ Suryah and Mithun Chakraborty.

Jailer 2 Trailer: New Characters And Returning Faces
Vidya Balan joins the franchise as a new antagonist. In her first look, she appears in a deep blue saree paired with a black blouse, while her short hairstyle gives her character a distinct appearance.
The sequel also features Suraj Venjaramoodu as Dileep and SJ Suryah as Bodhi. Mohanlal returns as Mathew, while Shiva Rajkumar reprises his role as Naras.
Mithun Chakraborty, Anna Rajan and Jatin Sarna are also part of the cast.
Meanwhile, fans have been closely examining the trailer after spotting a mysterious character who they believe could be Hrithik Roshan. Several reports have previously suggested that the Bollywood actor could make a cameo in the film, although there has been no official confirmation from the makers so far.

Despite maintaining a low profile, Tiger continues to stand up for justice. The sequel introduces SJ Suryah, Vidya Balan and Mithun Chakraborty as new antagonistic forces, setting up a fresh conflict for the protagonist.
The first Jailer followed a retired jailer who leads a quiet life with his family. His world changes when his police officer son goes missing and is believed to have been killed, forcing him to return to his violent past in an attempt to uncover the truth.
