Paris Fashion Week 2026 began with a star-studded evening as L’Oréal Paris hosted its “Express Your Worth” show beneath the illuminated Eiffel Tower. The runway brought together women from different generations and professional backgrounds, including Jane Fonda, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kendall Jenner.
The evening received an added dose of star power with the appearance of iconic singer Céline Dion, who performed during the showcase.
Céline Dion Performs ‘I’m Alive’ at the L’Oréal Show
Dion took the stage to perform her classic track “I’m Alive”, before being joined by fellow L’Oréal ambassadors. Videos and pictures from the event show Aishwarya Rai Bachchan sharing a warm hug with Dion before enjoying the singer’s performance.
The moment added to the memorable scenes from the Paris event, which brought together several prominent names from the worlds of fashion, entertainment and beauty.
Sharing pictures of Dion from the show, L’Oréal Paris wrote on Instagram, “A voice that inspires. A strength that speaks volumes. Global icon @celinedion brings her iconic voice to Le Défilé 2026 with I’m Alive, celebrating a moment of empowerment, resilience and worth.”
The post also noted that Dion wore an outfit by Schiaparelli along with jewellery from Boucheron.
Céline Dion’s Return to the Stage
Dion’s appearance at Paris Fashion Week comes after her recent return to live performance. The singer recently took the stage for her first full concert in more than six years.
According to People, her career had been interrupted first by the COVID-19 pandemic and later by her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome.
During her milestone concert, Dion became emotional just moments after beginning her performance. She paused during the opening of her set with the 1998 song “On Ne Change Pas” after appearing visibly moved.
She was seen wiping away tears, placing a hand over her chest and bringing her hands together in what appeared to be a gesture of gratitude toward the audience.
The emotional moment came as Dion reflected on her return to the stage and her promise to perform for her fans again.
