Nani’s The Paradise, which emerged as a box-office hit despite receiving mixed reviews from critics and audiences, is preparing for its digital premiere. The Telugu film will soon be available to stream online, giving viewers another opportunity to watch Nani in a distinctive role. Netflix has officially announced the film’s OTT release date along with details of its language versions.

The Paradise OTT Release Date and Streaming Platform

The Paradise will premiere on Netflix on October 22. Along with the original Telugu version, the film will be available in dubbed versions of Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, making it accessible to audiences across different language markets.

Announcing the release, Netflix India shared an update on social media, writing, “Welcome to Jadal zamana. What Is The Paradise About?

Set in 1980s Secunderabad, The Paradise follows a marginalised tribe struggling against discrimination and fighting for citizenship. Guided by an unexpected leader, the community challenges systemic oppression in its pursuit of rights and recognition.

The film was initially reported to be planned as a pan-India release, but Nani later clarified his position on the label. Speaking at an event, the actor explained why he preferred not to categorise the film as pan-Indian.

“When we see a Jawan or a Pathaan doing well in Tamil and Telugu, it is not called pan-India. But if a Telugu film does well across the country, it is called a pan-Indian film,” Nani said.

He further emphasised that the production’s primary focus remained on Telugu audiences, adding, “We don’t want to call it a Pan-India film. It is a complete Telugu film, and our main focus is on Telugu.”

Nani’s Action Sequences Draw Praise

The film’s action sequences have also attracted attention, with stunt choreographers Ram and Lakshman discussing the effort Nani put into performing them. In a conversation with Gulte Pro, the duo spoke about the actor’s dedication and physical commitment to the role.

“Nani worked really hard on ‘The Paradise’. Watch how he knocks down, gets up, rolls around, restrains people, drags them up and down, even pulls them by the head. All this means he’s laid it all out there,” they said.

Their comments highlighted the physical demands of the action scenes and the work Nani put into bringing his character to life.

The Paradise Cast and Nani’s Different Role

Alongside Nani, the film features Raghav Juyal, Kayadu Lohar and Sonali Kulkarni in pivotal roles.

The Paradise marked a significant step for Nani, who took on a character different from his previous roles. Following its theatrical run, the film is now preparing for its Netflix debut on October 22, with its release planned across five languages.
