Motorola is preparing to launch the Edge 70 Neo in India, and a new leak has revealed its expected colour options and key specifications. The upcoming smartphone is tipped to feature a 7,000mAh battery, a display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA primary camera.
The Motorola Edge 70 Neo is also expected to arrive in four Pantone-inspired colour options. Although the company has confirmed that the handset will launch in India soon, its official launch date and complete details are yet to be announced.
Motorola Edge 70 Neo Colour Options and Storage Variants
The Motorola Edge 70 Neo could be available in 6GB and 8GB RAM configurations in India. Storage options are expected to include 128GB and 256GB.
The smartphone is tipped to launch in four Pantone colour options: Mountain View, Milky Blue, Gray Lilac and Sage.
Motorola Edge 70 Neo Display and Performance
The Motorola Edge 70 Neo is expected to feature a 6.78-inch display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen could also come with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
Under the hood, the handset is tipped to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. It could be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, offering support for multitasking and faster data access.
Camera Specifications and Battery Details
For photography, the Motorola Edge 70 Neo is expected to feature a dual rear camera system. This setup could include a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 710 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, alongside a 2-megapixel macro camera. The phone may also include a three-in-one light sensor.
On the front, the device is tipped to feature a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
Battery capacity could be another highlight of the upcoming smartphone. According to the leak, it may pack a 7,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging.
The handset is reportedly 8.49mm thick and weighs 204 grams. It could also carry an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
Software Support and Expected Launch in India
The Motorola Edge 70 Neo is expected to run Android 16 out of the box. Motorola is also tipped to offer four major Android operating system upgrades and five years of security updates.
While the company has confirmed the smartphone’s upcoming arrival in India, the exact launch date remains undisclosed. The Edge 70 Neo will succeed the Motorola Edge 60 Neo, which was launched last year.
