“I always thought about why everyone is so cagey about it. Obviously I don’t want nazar, and I don’t want to be overly explicit about what’s happening in my personal life. I just think it’s overrated to be like ‘let no one ever know’. So it’s kind of boring to tiptoe around it, and it’s not a big deal,” she said.
Her comments offered insight into her approach to maintaining a balance between her public image and private relationships. Although she does not want to share every detail, she also feels there is no need to be overly secretive about her personal life.

Recalling Shikhar’s response to her loss, Janhvi shared that he was studying in London at the time but took half a semester off to return to Mumbai. She later discovered that he had stayed at a friend’s house in Juhu for around a month so he could be nearby if she needed him.
“He came to Bombay and he used to stay in town with his dad then, and he moved to his, which I only found out much later, he moved to his friend’s house in Juhu for like a month. Not that I was seeing him every day or anything like that, but later on I just found out that he was like, no, in case she needs me, I just want to be around,” she recalled.
Janhvi’s account highlighted the quiet way Shikhar offered support during that challenging time, without expecting to be involved in her daily life.
