Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is set to arrive in theatres within days, and the Ajay Devgn-led franchise is already witnessing strong interest among moviegoers. The film marks the return of Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar in what has been billed as the final chapter of the series. Advance bookings have begun on a promising note, with the film crossing the Rs 8 crore mark before its theatrical release.

Drishyam 3 Advance Booking Update

According to Sacnilk, Drishyam 3 has collected Rs 8.37 crore gross through advance bookings in India so far. Around 2.09 lakh tickets have already been sold across the country.

The advance booking window opened in the evening around six days before the film’s release. During its first night, approximately 5,000 tickets were sold across PVR Inox and Cinepolis. The figure has since climbed to nearly 35,000 tickets across the major national cinema chains.

The film’s release timing could also contribute to its opening. Drishyam 3 is scheduled to release on October 2, which is a national holiday. Bookings for Saturday, October 3, are also showing considerable activity. The film has already generated Rs 2.86 crore gross from 73,226 tickets for that day, with seven shows sold out.

Among the major markets, Maharashtra leads with Rs 87.04 lakh, followed by Delhi at Rs 63.95 lakh and Gujarat at Rs 30.14 lakh.

Tickets for the film can be booked online through the PVR Inox and Cinepolis platforms.

Drishyam 3 could record an opening-day collection of Rs 50 crore to Rs 60 crore net, with Rs 55 crore given as the pinpoint estimate.

The opening figure could change depending on how advance bookings perform in the days leading up to the release. The film has also generated interest in overseas markets, where it is expected to record a strong opening for an Ajay Devgn film.

Drishyam 3 Story and Cast

Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has been directed by Abhishek Pathak, who also helmed Drishyam 2. The franchise centres on Vijay Salgaonkar, a family man who becomes involved in a cover-up after an accidental killing and subsequently finds himself engaged in a battle of wits with the police.

For the third instalment, the makers have introduced a new storyline. Pathak has stated that the film is a completely fresh story and has no connection with the Malayalam film. He has also described it as the darkest chapter in Vijay Salgaonkar’s journey. However, the makers have kept the detailed plot confidential ahead of its theatrical release.

Drishyam 3 Cast

Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay Salgaonkar, alongside Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Rajat Kapoor. The film also features Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj in important roles.

Jaideep Ahlawat is a new addition to the franchise and portrays a police officer who is seen pursuing Vijay in the film’s trailer.
