Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand is reportedly developing the Redmi Turbo 6 Max as the successor to the Redmi Turbo 5 Max. Although the company has not officially announced the upcoming smartphone, new leaks have revealed some of its expected features. The Redmi Turbo series is generally known for its performance-focused hardware, but the next-generation model could also stand out for its battery capacity. The handset may feature an enormous 11,000mAh battery, potentially making it the largest battery ever used in a Xiaomi smartphone.
Redmi Turbo 6 Max Battery Capacity Leaked
While the device’s name was not directly mentioned, the specifications reportedly match earlier leaks surrounding the Redmi Turbo 6 Max.
The smartphone could be equipped with an 11,000mAh battery rated at 40.72Wh. If these details prove accurate, it would surpass the battery capacities of Xiaomi’s previously reported and existing smartphones.
For comparison, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max comes with a 9,000mAh battery and supports 100W wired fast charging.
Expected Processor and Display Specifications
The Redmi Turbo 6 Max has previously been linked to a battery capacity exceeding 10,000mAh. In an earlier leak, Digital Chat Station also suggested that the smartphone could be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s chipset. The latest information provides a more specific battery capacity of 11,000mAh.
Apart from its battery and processor, the upcoming handset is also tipped to feature a large, approximately 7-inch flat OLED display with 2K resolution and a reported refresh rate of up to 185Hz.
The display is said to use LIPO packaging technology, which could help reduce the bezels to around 1mm on all four sides, giving the smartphone a more edge-to-edge screen design.
Redmi Turbo 6 Max Global Launch Details
The Redmi Turbo 6 Max is also expected to reach international markets under the Poco X9 Pro Max name. However, Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the smartphone’s specifications, global availability or launch schedule.
