Vivo appears to be preparing to introduce its X500 flagship smartphone series in India. Three models from the lineup, including the Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max, have reportedly received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The development indicates that the smartphones are progressing towards their expected India debut.
The company recently confirmed its plans to bring the X500 series to the Indian market, but an official launch date has not yet been announced. The latest certification listing has further strengthened expectations surrounding the upcoming launch.
Vivo X500 Series Reportedly Appears on BIS Website
All three Vivo X500 series smartphones have received BIS certification. The listed model numbers are V2619, V2621 and V2610, which are reportedly linked to the Vivo X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max, respectively.
Although Vivo has not announced an official India launch date, reports indicate that the smartphones could arrive in the country towards the end of November.
For context, Vivo first introduced the X500 series in China in September. The lineup subsequently expanded to selected international markets, including Malaysia and Europe, earlier this week.
