Kannada star Yash grabbed attention at the Los Angeles premiere of Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming mythological epic, Ramayana: Rise of a Legend. While Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi were among the prominent stars at the event, Yash made a distinct fashion statement with a specially designed gold brooch inspired by his character, Ravana.
Featuring the demon king’s iconic ten-headed form, the accessory quickly gained traction on social media. Its intricate design and mythological significance made it one of the most talked-about elements of the actor’s red-carpet appearance.
Yash’s Gold Brooch Inspired by Ravana’s Ten Heads
The world premiere of Ramayana: Rise of a Legend took place on October 27, 2026, at the David Geffen Theatre inside the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.
Yash arrived in an all-black outfit, pairing his tailored jacket with dark sunglasses, gold hoop earrings and his signature beard. However, the standout element was the elaborate gold brooch pinned to his jacket. Designed with detailed craftsmanship and delicate hanging chains, the piece featured a representation of Ravana’s ten heads.
The custom accessory was created by Indian jewellery brand House of Amrapali specifically for the international premiere. Its design drew inspiration from Yash’s role as Ravana, the King of Lanka, whose kingdom is traditionally associated with gold.
By incorporating this mythological reference into his outfit, the actor brought a character-specific element to his red-carpet style. The brooch’s distinctive design quickly became a talking point among fans and fashion observers.
Yash Continues to Incorporate Mythology Into His Fashion
Yash has previously used accessories inspired by Ravana’s mythological identity during the film’s promotional events. In July 2026, the actor appeared at San Diego Comic-Con wearing an all-black ensemble featuring a gold trishul-shaped brooch.
The accessory referenced Ravana’s devotion to Lord Shiva, whose traditional symbol is the trishul. His latest appearance continues this approach of incorporating details associated with his on-screen character into his public appearances.
With the ten-headed Ravana brooch at the Los Angeles premiere, Yash once again connected his fashion choices with the mythology behind Ramayana: Rise of a Legend.
Ramayana: Rise of a Legend Cast, Release Date and Budget
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana: Rise of a Legend is planned as a two-part cinematic epic. The film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, with Yash portraying Ravana.
The project is produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios, DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. The first instalment is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 5, 2026.
The film’s music is being composed collaboratively by Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman. With the combined budget of both instalments estimated at INR 4,000 crore, or approximately USD 420 million, the project ranks among the most expensive Indian film productions ever undertaken.
As anticipation builds ahead of its theatrical release, Yash’s latest red-carpet appearance has added another talking point to the film’s promotional campaign, with his gold Ravana brooch drawing particular attention.
