These figures brought its total domestic net collection to ₹398.70 crore. The film also maintained a strong performance in international markets, collecting an estimated ₹10 crore overseas on Day 11. Its cumulative overseas gross consequently reached ₹243.50 crore.
With these earnings, Jailer 2 moved ahead of Shankar’s 2018 science-fiction film 2.0, which had previously held the record for the highest-grossing Tamil film worldwide with approximately ₹691 crore.
