Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has announced the launch of the UNIFYD Music Festival, a major live music event set to bring together leading Indian artists in Abu Dhabi. The one-day festival will take place on March 20, 2027, at Etihad Live on Yas Island, with a line-up featuring some of the biggest names in Indian music.
Curated by Shah Rukh Khan, the event aims to celebrate India’s diverse musical traditions on an international platform. The actor will also attend the festival, marking his involvement in a project designed to connect artists and audiences through live performances.
Shah Rukh Khan Shares the Vision Behind UNIFYD
The UNIFYD Music Festival is planned as a multi-stage production showcasing Indian music and culture. Announcing the initiative, Shah Rukh Khan spoke about the ability of music to bring people together, drawing a connection with his experience of storytelling through cinema.
“I’ve spent a lifetime telling stories on screen and watching them bring people together. Music has that same extraordinary power. UNIFYD, produced by D’YAVOL Live along with District, will unite India’s most incredible artists on a shared stage for the first time. The festival promises to be a true spectacle in terms of its scale, energy, and grandeur,” Khan said.
The festival is being organised by D’YAVOL Live, co-founded by Shah Rukh Khan, in collaboration with District, an entertainment and ticketing platform. The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral are also partners, while Emirates NBD is associated with the event.
Following its debut in Abu Dhabi, the organisers aim to take the UNIFYD concept to additional cities and international markets, reflecting plans to establish the festival on a broader global scale.
Arijit Singh, Karan Aujla and Sonu Nigam Lead the Line-up
The festival’s first announced performers include Arijit Singh, known for his popular romantic songs, Punjabi music star Karan Aujla and veteran playback singer Sonu Nigam.
One of the key highlights will be Sonu Nigam’s first-ever performance at a music festival. His participation adds a special element to the event for fans who have followed his career in Indian playback music.
Organisers expect more than 15 artists to perform across multiple stages. Further announcements about the remaining performers are expected in the coming months, with the festival promising a wide-ranging showcase of Indian music.
UNIFYD Music Festival Tickets: Presale Dates and Booking Details
Tickets for the UNIFYD Music Festival will be available exclusively through the District app. The booking schedule includes a dedicated presale for Emirates NBD cardholders, followed by general ticket sales.
The Emirates NBD cardholder presale will begin on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 9:30 AM UAE time and continue for 24 hours, ending on Tuesday, October 20, at 9:30 AM UAE time.
General ticket sales will open on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 10:30 AM UAE time. Ticket prices have not yet been announced.
With Shah Rukh Khan leading the initiative and Arijit Singh, Karan Aujla and Sonu Nigam among the first confirmed performers, the UNIFYD Music Festival is set to be a major addition to Abu Dhabi’s entertainment calendar in 2027. The March 20 event will bring Indian musical talent to an international audience, with more performers expected to join the line-up.
