IT Stocks, ITC and TCS in Focus

Infosys, TCS, Wipro and HCLTech: Shares of major IT companies, including Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Wipro and HCLTech, may remain on investors’ radar following an announcement by the US Department of Labor regarding their suspension from the Permanent Labor Certification Program. ITC: ITC shares could see activity following a major block deal executed on Thursday. An emerging markets fund linked to GQG sold shares worth approximately ₹9,395 crore at ₹257.35 per share. TCS: Tata Consultancy Services reported a 15% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹13,884 crore for the September quarter of FY2026-27. Following the results, investors are expected to monitor the company’s revenue growth, margins and outlook for future business performance.

Power Grid, KEC International and Tata Power

Power Grid: Power Grid Corporation of India completed the commissioning of its 2,500 MW solar energy transmission project in Bidar, Karnataka, on October 5. The development brings attention to the company’s project execution and its transmission business.

KEC International: The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company announced new orders worth ₹1,030 crore on Thursday. Gravita India, Arisinfra Solutions and Other Stocks

Cochin Shipyard: State-owned Cochin Shipyard has received orders to build more than 40 vessels for clients in the United States, Germany, Norway and other countries. Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal shared the information on Thursday. These international orders are an important development for the company’s business pipeline and future operations.

Waaree Renewable Technologies: The company received a Letter of Acceptance from a public sector undertaking (PSU) for a 5-megawatt-peak (MWp) grid-connected solar photovoltaic project. The order adds to developments in its renewable energy business.
