Kolkata: Several stocks are likely to remain in focus on October 8 following key corporate announcements, business updates, major orders and expansion plans. Tata Power, Dixon Technologies, Senco Gold, Brainbeez Solutions, OM Power Transmission, Silver Touch Technologies, PC Jeweller, Ola Electric Mobility, PNGS Gargi Fashion Jewellery, Rathi Steel & Power and Torrent Power are among the companies investors may track today.

The domestic market has been witnessing volatility, while GIFT NIFTY signals the possibility of a weaker opening on Thursday. Here are the key stocks and developments to watch.

Tata Power, Senco Gold and Dixon Technologies

Tata Power: The company has entered into a partnership with Norwegian firm Ocean Sun to introduce membrane-based floating solar technology in India.

Senco Gold: The jewellery retailer reported a 31% year-on-year rise in revenue during Q2FY27. Retail revenue grew 29%, supported by a 19% increase in same-store sales. The company recorded its highest-ever first-half topline of more than ₹5,000 crore, while sales crossed ₹10,000 crore on a trailing 12-month basis.

Dixon Technologies: The electronics manufacturing services company has signed a joint venture agreement with Gemtek Technology. Dixon will hold a 60% stake in the venture, while Gemtek will own the remaining 40%. The joint venture will manufacture and supply optical transceivers, including SFP and BOSA products, along with other mutually agreed telecom products in India.

Fino Payments Bank: The bank’s latest business update showed a 17% year-on-year decline in deposits. However, renewal income increased 20%, while average total deposits grew 13% year-on-year. Loan referral disbursements recorded a sharp 223% increase.

PC Jeweller, Ola Electric and Brainbeez Solutions

Brainbeez Solutions: Its subsidiary GlobalBees has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to sell its entire 51.54% stake in subsidiary Mash Textiles for ₹5.69 crore. The transaction is expected to be completed by October 15, 2026.

PC Jeweller: The company reported a 28% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue during Q2FY27. The growth was attributed to strong customer demand during the quarter.

Ola Electric Mobility: The company’s board has approved a ₹1,000 crore rights issue at ₹27 per share. The issue will be offered in a 2:25 ratio, with October 13, 2026, set as the record date.

OM Power Transmission, Silver Touch and Torrent Power

OM Power Transmission: The company has received a Letter of Intent from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation for the supply, erection, testing and commissioning of the 220 kV D/C Chorania-Salezda transmission line on a turnkey basis. The contract is worth ₹78.84 crore and has a project completion period of 24 months.

Silver Touch Technologies: The company has secured a ₹35.63 crore (US$3.5 million) purchase order from ITI for a defence project. The order involves supplying 80 high-performance enterprise servers along with a three-year warranty. The Indian Army is the end customer for the project.

Torrent Power: The power company said its subsidiary has terminated a 300 MW wind power purchase agreement with SECI. The decision follows continued uncertainty over project implementation, which was affected by force majeure, delays in transmission connectivity and delays in the operationalisation of GNA.

PNGS Gargi Fashion Jewellery and Rathi Steel & Power

PNGS Gargi Fashion Jewellery: The company reported a 16.21% year-on-year increase in revenue to ₹53.98 crore in Q2FY27. EBO sales contributed 18.30% during the first half of FY27.

Rathi Steel & Power: The company reported revenue of more than ₹200 crore in Q2FY27, representing growth of over 30% compared with the same period last year. Sales volume increased 28.86% year-on-year to 32,028 MT. The company also reduced interest rates by 450 basis points to support growth.

With several companies reporting significant orders, business updates and corporate developments, these stocks could remain on investors’ radar during Thursday’s trading session. Market participants will also watch overall market sentiment following the expected weaker opening indicated by GIFT NIFTY.
