Railway connectivity in Rajasthan is set to expand with the approval of three new train services. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has sanctioned the operation of the new trains following a request from Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.

The new services are expected to provide passengers across several districts with additional travel options and improve connectivity between important cities and destinations in the state.

Three New Trains Approved for Rajasthan

One of the newly approved services is the Bhuj-Barauni Amrit Bharat Express. The train will provide connectivity through important Rajasthan stations, including Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City and Bharatpur.

The service is expected to benefit passengers travelling for business, personal and leisure purposes by connecting Rajasthan with Bhuj in Gujarat and Barauni in Bihar.

Two other services — the Haridwar-Okha Express and Haridwar-Veraval Express — have also been introduced following the initiative of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.

These trains will pass through important Rajasthan locations such as Alwar, Jaipur, Ajmer and Abu Road. Their operation is expected to provide additional travel options for passengers, particularly those travelling to religious and tourist destinations.

Better Connectivity for Major Rajasthan Cities

The addition of these train services will improve travel options for passengers in several parts of Rajasthan. Cities and districts such as Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Bharatpur and Alwar are expected to benefit from the expanded rail connectivity.

The new services will also make it easier for passengers to travel to important educational, tourism and industrial centres. Additional train options can help passengers plan journeys more conveniently and reduce dependence on limited existing services.

State and Centre Working to Expand Rail Services

The Rajasthan government, under Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, has been coordinating with the central government and the Ministry of Railways to expand passenger and transportation services across the state.

The approval of these three trains follows the demand for improved rail connectivity in Rajasthan. The state government and railway authorities are also working on further improvements in passenger facilities.

The expansion of rail services is expected to strengthen connectivity between different parts of Rajasthan and other important destinations, while providing passengers with more convenient travel options.
