Honda is preparing to introduce the facelifted Elevate SUV in India, with the updated model scheduled to arrive on October 6, 2026. The company has already released multiple teasers, offering glimpses of the redesigned exterior and upgraded cabin.

One of the most noticeable changes is the revised lighting setup, along with a new position for the Honda logo on the bonnet. Interestingly, several of these design elements appear similar to those seen on Honda’s WR-V TrailSport HRC Concept, which was showcased in Japan earlier this year.

India will be the first market to receive the facelifted Elevate. Bookings for the updated SUV have already started.

Honda Elevate Facelift Design

The front-end styling is expected to receive the biggest visual update. Teaser images show three horizontal illuminated elements positioned between the slim headlamp units. This lighting arrangement closely resembles the treatment featured on the WR-V TrailSport HRC Concept.

Another major styling change is the placement of the Honda emblem. On the existing Elevate, the logo sits in the centre of the front grille. The facelifted model, however, is shown with the badge positioned towards the front edge of the bonnet, giving the SUV a different and more premium appearance.

Honda introduced the WR-V TrailSport HRC Concept at the Tokyo Auto Salon in January 2026. The concept was designed to demonstrate an adventure-focused SUV styling direction. Honda also displayed TrailSport HRC concepts based on the CR-V, ZR-V and Vezel at the event.

The WR-V TrailSport HRC Concept featured a grey exterior, dark wheels, chunky tyres and roof crossbars. Orange accents, bonnet graphics and HRC branding further added to its rugged and sporty appearance.

Interior and Premium Features

The changes will not be restricted to the exterior. Honda’s initial teasers have also provided an early look at the updated Elevate’s cabin.

The dashboard trim is expected to receive revisions, while lighter-coloured upholstery could give the interior a brighter appearance. Orange ambient lighting visible across the dashboard and door panels is also expected to add a more premium touch.

The interior teaser also appears to show a digital IRVM. Other expected equipment includes ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof and a 360-degree camera.

Engine and Launch Details

No major mechanical changes are expected with the facelift. The Honda Elevate is likely to continue with its existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, with both manual and CVT transmission options expected to remain available.

The updated Honda Elevate will officially launch in India on October 6, 2026. Since bookings have already opened, more information about its pricing and complete feature list is expected around the launch.

With the facelift, Honda is primarily focusing on giving the Elevate a fresher exterior design and a more premium cabin while retaining its existing engine and transmission choices.
