The PM-KISAN scheme continues to provide financial support to eligible farmer families across the country. Under the scheme, eligible beneficiaries receive ₹6,000 every year in three equal instalments of ₹2,000 through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

The government has already released the 23rd instalment on June 20, 2026. At the time of this update, there is no official announcement regarding the release date of the 24th instalment. Meanwhile, the PM-KISAN portal currently provides several facilities that can help beneficiaries update their details, correct missing information and resolve payment-related issues.

1. Update Missing Information

Farmers who have incomplete information in their PM-KISAN registration can use the “Update Missing Information” facility available on the official portal.

After selecting this option, beneficiaries can search using their Aadhaar number or registration number along with the captcha. The portal then displays the information that needs to be completed or updated, allowing the farmer to submit the required details.

2. Change the Registered Mobile Number

Farmers who have changed their mobile number can also update their registered contact details through the PM-KISAN portal.

The “Update Mobile Number” facility allows beneficiaries to search using their registration number or Aadhaar number and proceed with the mobile-number update process.

Keeping the registered mobile number updated is useful because the PM-KISAN portal uses it for services such as status checks and OTP-based verification.

3. Online Refund Facility for Ineligible Beneficiaries

The PM-KISAN website also provides an Online Refund facility for beneficiaries who are required to return payments received under the scheme.

The refund service can be accessed through the portal using details such as the Aadhaar number or mobile number, followed by the required verification steps.

The government has also flagged certain cases that may fall under the scheme’s exclusion criteria. For example, some cases involving land ownership acquired after February 1, 2019, or benefits being received by more than one member of the same family may be subject to verification.

4. Find the Right Official Contact for Complaints

Farmers facing problems with their PM-KISAN benefits can use the “Search your Point of Contact (POC)” facility available on the portal.

The system provides options to search for State Nodal and District Nodal officials. After selecting the relevant state and district, beneficiaries can view the available contact details and approach the concerned official regarding their issue.

Farmers can also use the Know Your Status facility to check payment details, bank information, UTR details and e-KYC status. The PM-KISAN portal currently states that e-KYC is mandatory for registered beneficiaries.
