Nora Fatehi has made her Tamil cinema debut with “Bindaas,” the latest song from Superstar Rajinikanth’s much-awaited film Jailer 2. The energetic dance number is the fourth single from the movie’s 12-song album and was released on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
The track has already attracted attention for Nora’s glamorous appearance and energetic performance, while also prompting comparisons with the hugely popular “Kaavaalaa” from the first Jailer.
‘Jailer 2’ Song ‘Bindaas’ Features Nora Fatehi
“Bindaas” has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who also lends his voice to the song along with Deepthi Suresh. The lyrics have been written by Super Subu.
The nearly four-minute lyric video presents Nora Fatehi in a striking gold outfit as she performs on a pool table inside a lavish setting illuminated by chandeliers. The visual also features masked dancers, fashionable partygoers and children dressed in formal outfits, adding to the song’s colourful and playful presentation.
The track combines Tamil and Hindi lyrics and includes the phrase “Chori hogayi,” giving the song a distinctive flavour within the Jailer franchise.
Fans Compare ‘Bindaas’ With ‘Kaavaalaa’
Soon after its release, “Bindaas” began drawing comparisons with “Kaavaalaa,” the popular dance number from the first Jailer. Featuring Tamannaah Bhatia, the 2023 song became a major hit, with its catchy hook and energetic choreography helping it gain widespread popularity. The song crossed 100 million views within a month.
Nora Fatehi’s dance performance and screen presence in “Bindaas” have received attention from viewers. However, several fans on social media have also said that the new track does not recreate the distinctive feel of “Kaavaalaa.”
Some listeners have described Anirudh’s composition for “Bindaas” as familiar and said they feel it does not have the same freshness that helped “Kaavaalaa” stand out.
More About ‘Jailer 2’
Jailer 2 is the sequel to Nelson Dilipkumar’s 2023 blockbuster Jailer. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures, the film brings Rajinikanth back as “Tiger” Muthuvel Pandian.
Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa and Rithvik are among the actors returning from the first instalment. The sequel also introduces S. J. Suryah, Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Anna Rajan and Jatin Sarna.
Mohanlal and Shivarajkumar are set to make special guest appearances, while reports have also suggested Vijay Sethupathi’s involvement in the film.
With music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Vijay Kartik Kannan and editing by R. Nirmal, Jailer 2 is scheduled to arrive in cinemas worldwide on October 15, 2026.
