‘Love & War’ Set for January 2027 Release
Love & War is described as a period romantic drama built around a complicated love triangle against the backdrop of conflict. The film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas worldwide on January 21, 2027, with releases planned in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
The project also brings Ranbir Kapoor back together with Sanjay Leela Bhansali nearly two decades after the filmmaker launched the actor with Saawariya in 2007.
Alia Bhatt is reuniting with Bhansali after their collaboration on the critically acclaimed Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022). Meanwhile, Love & War marks Vicky Kaushal’s first collaboration with the filmmaker.
First-Look Posters Build Anticipation
The buzz around the film grew further following the release of its first-look posters last week. Featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, the posters quickly attracted widespread attention online.
Produced by Bhansali Productions in association with Jio Studios, the film is also expected to generate further excitement with its upcoming teaser. The teaser is reportedly being planned around Diwali and may be attached to theatrical prints of Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film Ramayana.
With its reported INR 300 crore theatrical rights deal, high-profile cast and Sanjay Leela Bhansali at the helm, Love & War is among the much-awaited Hindi films scheduled for release in 2027.
