Tripura to Have the Highest Number of Holidays
When regional holidays are considered along with regular weekly holidays, Tripura will have the highest number of bank closures during October.
In the state, banks will remain closed on October 2, 17, 19, 20, 21 and 26 due to listed holidays. Including four Sundays and two Saturdays, bank branches in Tripura will remain closed for a total of 12 days during the month.
West Bengal will have 11 holidays, while Gangtok will have 10 holidays when the applicable holidays and weekly closures are taken together.
Digital Banking Services to Continue
Although physical bank branches will be closed on holidays, most digital banking services will continue to be available. Customers can use net banking, mobile banking, UPI and ATMs throughout the month.
