DDA Flat Sale 2026: Over 4,000 Homes Expected Ahead of Dussehra and Diwali

People planning to buy a home in New Delhi may soon have another housing opportunity as the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is preparing a new residential scheme with more than 4,000 flats. The scheme is expected to be introduced around the Dussehra and Diwali festive period in October–November 2026.

The proposed DDA housing scheme will include 1 BHK, 2 BHK and 3 BHK flats in Narela and other locations across the national capital. To make the process easier for applicants, the authority is also expected to deploy nodal officers to assist prospective homebuyers with the allotment process.

DDA Housing Scheme 2026: Key Details

According to officials, the booking period for the ongoing DDA Karmayogi Awaas Yojana and Nagarik Awaas Yojana could also be extended by around one month beyond the existing late-September deadline.

Both schemes currently provide a flat 25% discount on ready-to-move-in housing inventory in selected sectors of Narela, according to a report published by Daily Jagran.

The upcoming festive housing initiative is aimed at increasing the availability of residential units across different income categories. The deployment of nodal officers is also expected to provide applicants with assistance during the allotment and related procedures.

DDA Karmayogi Awaas Yojana Details

The Karmayogi Awaas Yojana is specifically meant for serving and retired government employees. Under the scheme, ready-to-move-in 1 BHK and 2 BHK flats are available in Narela.

The housing inventory covered under the scheme is located in Pockets 6, 9 and 13, along with Sectors A-1 to A-4.

How to Apply for DDA Flats

Eligible applicants can complete the application process online through the DDA’s official services portal. Applicants can submit the required details, verify employment-related documents where applicable, choose their preferred housing pocket and pay the registration fee through the online system.

DDA Consults Experts on Master Plan for Delhi 2047

Separately, the Delhi Development Authority has held consultations with architects, planners and other professionals regarding the Master Plan for Delhi 2047 (MPD 2047).

The sixth and seventh rounds of stakeholder consultations were organised on the directions of Lieutenant Governor T.S. Sandhu. The meetings allowed participating professionals and stakeholders to present their views, suggestions and feedback on different aspects of Delhi’s future development.

Among the issues discussed were parking infrastructure, traffic management and various elements of redevelopment projects in the national capital.
