What Is the New ICICI Bank Net Banking Address?
ICICI Bank’s main website address has been changed from http://www.icicibank.com to http://www.icici.bank.in.
Similarly, the retail internet banking portal has moved from retailnetbanking.icicibank.com to retailnetbanking.icici.bank.in.
The bank has communicated the change to customers through official information and emails. Customers using the old saved links should update them to the new addresses.
ICICI Bank has also informed customers that services related to the iMobile app will remain unavailable for a few hours on September 19, 2026, because of scheduled maintenance.
Why Has ICICI Bank Changed Its Domain?
The change follows a directive from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) concerning the use of the specialised .bank.in domain for banking websites.
In a circular dated April 22, 2025, the RBI instructed banks to migrate their net banking websites to the new domain by October 31, 2025.
ICICI Bank’s move to the new web addresses is part of this domain migration requirement.
Will Your Customer ID or Password Change?
The change in the website and internet banking addresses does not alter customers’ existing login credentials or bank account details.
ICICI Bank customers can continue using their existing customer ID and password to access net banking through the new portal. There is no requirement to register again or create a new set of login credentials because of the domain change.
Customers should therefore use their existing login details when accessing the new internet banking website.
CAPTCHA Added to Net Banking Login
ICICI Bank has also introduced a CAPTCHA feature on its net banking login page.
CAPTCHA is designed to help distinguish genuine users from automated systems during the login process. Customers may therefore see the CAPTCHA verification while accessing their internet banking account through the new portal.
