The nationwide Rashtriya Sankalp Samaroh is being organised today at 1,067 locations across India as part of the Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat – 100 Weeks Nasha Mukt Yuva Abhiyan.
The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports said the initiative is aimed at bringing young people together through activities focused on creating awareness about a drug-free society.
Programme to Cover 471 District MY Bharat Offices
According to the ministry, the programme is being conducted at 471 District MY Bharat Offices across the country. In addition, 596 locations of partner organisations are also taking part in the nationwide mobilisation.
The large-scale programme is designed to take the campaign’s message directly to young people at the local level.
Youth to Take Part in Awareness Activities
The Rashtriya Sankalp Samaroh will feature several activities involving young participants. These include a Nasha Mukt Pledge, Signature Campaign, thematic street plays, slogan writing and youth-led discussions.
Through these activities, the campaign will encourage young people to participate in conversations and initiatives supporting a drug-free environment.
