How to Check Your Pension Payment
If you receive a social security pension, there are several ways to verify whether the money has been credited.
1. Check Your Registered Mobile Number
Keep the mobile phone linked to your bank account switched on. Once the pension is credited, the bank may send an SMS containing details of the transaction.
2. Update Your Bank Passbook
If you do not receive an SMS because your phone was switched off or for any other reason, you can visit your bank and update your passbook. The latest pension credit should appear in the account transaction history.
3. Check the Account Through an ATM
Beneficiaries can also use their bank’s ATM to view their account balance or transaction statement. This can help confirm whether the pension payment has been credited.
Pension Beneficiaries Can Check Their Payment Easily
The September 10 DBT transfer is an important financial update for Bihar’s social security pension beneficiaries. Those receiving monthly assistance under the eligible schemes can verify the August payment through their mobile banking notification, updated passbook or ATM account statement.
If the pension amount is not immediately visible, beneficiaries should allow some time for the bank transaction to be reflected and then check their account again.
