Bihar Pension August 2026: There is good news for social security pension beneficiaries in Bihar. The state government has released the August 2026 pension payment, with the amount transferred directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
The payment was initiated on September 10, 2026, during an event held in Munger. A total of ₹1,233.87 crore was transferred to the accounts of around 105.68 lakh pension beneficiaries.

The total amount released for the month stood at ₹1,233.87 crore.

The pension transfer programme was organised at Ganga Mor in Munger on September 10. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary participated in the programme and initiated the transfer through video conferencing.
