Mumbai Police have expanded their investigation into the firing incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s car in Juhu, Mumbai, with four more people arrested, including two women. The arrests are linked to the suspected supply and transportation of the firearm and ammunition allegedly used in the October 18 attack.

The four accused were arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell in Delhi and Haryana before being placed in Mumbai Police custody for further investigation. Officials are now examining their alleged connections to the shooters and others suspected of coordinating the incident.

Four Accused Arrested in Delhi and Haryana

The latest arrests include Kunal, 21, and Sumit, 19, both residents of Haryana’s Sonipat district, along with Radha, 23, and Babita, 23, from Uttar Pradesh.

According to police officials, Radha and Babita were apprehended at New Delhi Railway Station, while Kunal and Sumit were arrested in Sonipat on October 20. The accused were initially produced before a court by the Delhi Police Special Cell.

The Maharashtra Police Crime Investigation Department (CID) subsequently sought permission to arrest and question the four suspects. The court approved the request and granted Mumbai Police three days of transit remand to bring them to Mumbai for further questioning.

These arrests follow the apprehension of three alleged shooters in Kota, Rajasthan. Investigators are working to establish the connections between the suspects and determine how the weapon allegedly used in the shooting reached Mumbai.

Police Investigate Alleged Weapon Supply Network

Investigators suspect that Kunal collected a pistol and 20 rounds of ammunition from Amritsar on the instructions of a man identified as Anil Pandit, who is alleged to have coordinated the operation.

According to the police investigation, Kunal communicated with Pandit through an encrypted messaging application. He allegedly convinced Radha to transport the weapon to Mumbai, with Babita accompanying her.

The two women travelled to Mumbai by train on October 15 and arrived on October 17. They reportedly stayed at a hotel near Dadar, where a minor boy allegedly collected the bag containing the firearm.

Police are investigating the alleged roles of all four accused, tracing the movement of the weapon and ammunition, and examining communications exchanged before and after the shooting.

Three Suspected Shooters Arrested in Kota

Before the latest arrests, police apprehended three alleged shooters in Kota on October 19. They were identified as Hrithik Kumar, also known as Roshan, 22, from Bihar, and Rehan Rahisuddin and Phool Singh, both 18, from Haryana.

The three are suspected of carrying out the shooting at Shroff’s car on the evening of October 18. Mumbai Police were expected to bring them to Mumbai on October 21 for further interrogation.

Investigators are also attempting to identify the people who communicated with the alleged shooters before and immediately after the incident. They are examining whether the suspects acted on instructions from a handler and how the attack was coordinated.

Investigators are also probing possible links between the accused and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Anil Pandit, who reportedly claimed responsibility for the shooting in an audio message, is among those whose alleged involvement is being examined.

Another aspect of the investigation concerns whether Shroff was the intended target or whether the attackers changed their plans because of security arrangements surrounding another high-profile individual. Police have not publicly established all the details of the alleged plan.

The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities working to determine the source of the firearm, identify the suspected chain of command and establish the extent of each accused person’s involvement.
