Irumudi Claims the Top Spot on Netflix
Irumudi has continued to attract viewers worldwide and reached the No. 1 position in its second week on Netflix. The film combines family emotions, action and a story centred on personal relationships, helping it connect with audiences across different markets.
During the latest weekly viewing period, the Ravi Teja-led film recorded 3.4 million views, equivalent to 8.1 million viewing hours. Its total viewership has now reached 6.8 million views within two weeks of its digital release.
Directed by Shiva Nirvana, Irumudi features Ravi Teja and Priya Bhavani Shankar. The story focuses on a father-son relationship shaped by devotion, sacrifice and redemption, with the central character undertaking a life-changing pilgrimage.
Modha Rathiri Takes the Second Position
Tamil rural comedy-drama Modha Rathiri secured the second spot on the global Netflix chart with 2.9 million views, accounting for 6.9 million viewing hours.
The film, which stars Rishikanth and Anishma, has gained momentum through its relatable humour and word-of-mouth response. Directed by debutant Karuppasamy, the story revolves around a series of comic misunderstandings and chaotic situations that unfold in a village during a wedding night celebration.
