The latest episode of Bigg Boss 20 brought fresh tension inside the house as contestants dealt with strained relationships, personal revelations and an important nomination task. Episode 23 saw Rhiti Tiwari attempt to resolve her differences with Uditi Singh following the Diss Battle, while Mary Kom opened up about her personal life during a conversation with the other housemates. Captain Kushal Tanwar, popularly known as Gullu, was also given a major decision involving the house’s ration and contestants’ lifelines.
The episode concluded with a nomination task that placed several housemates in a vulnerable position.
Gullu Makes a Crucial Choice for the House
Kushal Tanwar, aka Gullu, returned as captain for the second time and was given a decision that would have an impact on everyone in the house. Bigg Boss presented him with two choices: receive 120% ration for the house without any Jeevandan, or settle for 80% ration while restoring the lifelines of different contestant pairs.
Gullu opted for 80% ration and chose to restore the lifelines of Uditi Singh and Kanika Mann. The decision gave both contestants another opportunity to continue their journey in the house.
During his second captaincy, another development also took place as the second door of the 2X Room was opened for the first time.
Contestants Face a Challenging Nomination Task
The nomination process introduced a different format this week. The housemates were paired together and given 10 minutes to decide which person should remain safe and which one should be nominated. If a pair failed to arrive at a mutual decision within the allotted time, both contestants would be nominated.
As captain, Gullu was not required to participate in the task.
Rhiti Tiwari and Amrapali were the first pair to take part. However, they could not agree on a decision before the time ran out, leading to both contestants being nominated.
Mahi Vij and Arishfa Khan were the next pair. During their discussion, Mahi acknowledged that Arishfa had a strong fan following and could have a better chance of being saved. Following their conversation, Mahi decided to nominate herself.
Rhiti Tries to Resolve Her Differences With Uditi
After the intense Diss Battle, Rhiti Tiwari approached Uditi Singh to apologise and explain her behaviour. Rhiti said that her anger towards Qazi had influenced her reaction and that Uditi had unintentionally become involved in the situation.
Clarifying her feelings towards Qazi, Rhiti said they were driven by “not jealousy, but pure hatred.” She also told Uditi that she believed Uditi was being overshadowed within her group by Mahi Vij, Qazi, Arishfa Khan and Aman.
Later, the group was seen discussing Uditi’s position and her current approach towards the group, keeping the situation tense inside the house.
Mary Kom Opens Up About Love and Her Biopic
Mary Kom also shared some personal details during a conversation with Qazi, who asked her whether she had ever experienced love. Mary said that there had been certain incidents in her life, but she did not feel love from within and instead found herself guided by responsibilities.
Later, Aman asked Mary about the extent to which her biopic was inspired by her real-life experiences. Mary explained that only a small part of the film reflected her actual life and clarified that the character shown in the movie was different from the person she had experienced in reality.
